Here I share 4 books on fiction and faith! It is a great series called “The Incredible Worlds of Wally McDoogle”. Maybe, you have heard about it or maybe not. I’m sharing a little review here. This series is about a seventh grade thirteen-year-old named Wally McDoogle, who loves to write on his computer different stories. Each book includes a super fun and faith focused story.

Bill Myers’s beloved children’s book series is back, and updated for a new generation of young readers. In addition to updated pop culture references and an easy-to-read typesetting, these new editions bring Wally to life with illustrations throughout the text.
The Wally McDoogle series is full of hilarious hijinks and outrageous adventures. In between the laughter, readers will learn essential lessons about friendship, pride, and faith – and the importance of trusting God with it all.

What I like about each book is that it inspires children to trust God, to share about Jesus, among other faith topics that are so important today. To give children these resources in their hands is to provide them with an injection of faith.

You can get each book (each one will bring a new story your kids will love), they are many titles available now! – Check out more information about the books here and get them all here.

How I got over $100 in free books for my child’s library

With the situation we are experiencing we know that being in our home is the best way to take care of ourselves. I have had, like everyone else, to make great adjustments. Among those adjustments is getting tools for my baby, either to play or to learn. All this without leaving my home.

With the situation we are experiencing we know that being in our home is the best way to take care of ourselves. I have had, like everyone else, to make great adjustments. Among those adjustments is getting tools for my baby, either to play or to learn. All this without leaving my home.

For a long time I wanted to create a library for him and in this time I was able to do it. I share with you in this post how I got over $100 in free books for my child’s library and I know you can do it too!

The first step I had to take was to join as an independent consultant for Usborne Books & More. At first I had my doubts and was not entirely sure. But I started looking at all the books they had that were very appropriate for my baby.

So, I decided to give myself the opportunity to join and get free books for myself. In addition to this, I was able to become my own boss, work from home, and have extra money in my wallet.

From my own experience:

I joined this company through one of their consulting packages. Back then, a virtual package offer was available for just $ 30.00. Then I would get back $ 30.00 free in books. Let’s say, I invested that $ 30.00 in the books for my baby. Now I have those books in my home!

Bible Stories and more christian books are available too!

Like any job, you have to work hard. So I decided to impact those mothers who might be interested in also receiving free books for their children. You read well! Free books!

Those mothers became my hosts for what we call online book parties! It’s wonderful, because you literally do everything from home without having to leave. You just need your computer, internet and a lot of desire to work! Did I mention we have books for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and the big kids too? Puzzles? Activity Books? The options are endless!

So, when you manage to make an online book party at Facebook or some other platform that allows you to do it, you get free books for your HOST and you also get them. In my first book party I managed to get more $ 100.00 in books without leaving my house and I could bless someone else with free books too. Not to mention that there are other consultants of this company that receive much more in free books. It all depends how much you work your business.

You will love the parties!

According to my experience I have not lost anything with this new opportunity in my life. On the contrary, I have been able to work from home, on my own schedule, to get extra money for my house and I have the books that from the beginning I wanted to obtain for my child. Don’t you think you can do the same?

All this without having mentioned other benefits such as, for example, you receive your weekly check for the profits from your sales, you can do 1, 2, 3 parties or many more. Which would result in more money for you and more free books. You can get books to giveaway. You receive gifts from the company for reaching milestones. And you meet extraordinary people who will also help you grow.

Summer is near and it is necessary that our children can not only have fun but also learn! I invite you to join with your children to an exciting summer camp where we will learn about the some important characters your kids will love! Gather your supplies and prepare for this adventure!

Our DIY Summer Camp is designed for 7 days starting on a Monday but feel free to adjust the schedule according to what works best for your family. If doing one character trait each day doesn’t work for you then spread it out between two weeks. Get the full details HERE!

We will work each character trait with fascinating examples and faith object lessons you will love. Each trait will be represented with kids and family activities (this is for the whole family!), children’s books, family movies and more!

How here at His Purpose In Me you will learn about BE FAITHFUL! Enjoy this great character trait where God calls us to be faithful and He is with each one of us! Read below for a lesson and plenty of activities to practice what you have learned about this trait!

Be Faithful Lesson:

Maybe you know or have heard about Ruth’s Story in the Bible. It really is a complete book of Ruth. It is an interesting, fascinating book and above all it teaches us to be faithful. After Noemi and her family moved to Moab, sad events occurred for Noemi. He lost his entire family. However, God had a plan of redemption for Naomi and her daughter-in-law Ruth. Noemi’s son married Ruth, a Moabite girl who had other beliefs and customs. However, Ruth came to know through her relationship with Noemi the GOD that Noemi served.

When they were alone they only had each other and Naomi decided to return to Bethlehem, so Ruth decided not to leave Naomi and accompany her wherever she went. This is where the faithfulness to the friendship that they had flourishes in Ruth. Thus leaving all their gods, customs and traditions and opening her heart to the true God.

But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” When Naomi realized that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her. (Read Ruth 1)

When we are faithful what do we do?

  • We DO NOT turn our back to the ones we love!
  • We KEEP and STAY near to help others!
  • We DON’T LET differences get in the way of friendship!
  • We KEEP our promises!

Being Faithful is being: loyal, constant, and steadfast.

ACTIVITIES TO PUT OUR FAITHFUL CHARACTER TRAIT ON PRACTICE:

  • Ruth The Belle of Loyalty: As Rooney watches Ruth face the choice to stay or walk away, she learns what it means to be loyal and put another person’s needs before her own.

Fun things to do about faithfulness: Here is some ideas of activities and games you can incorporate to learn and practice this beautiful character trait.

  • The Big Shirt of Faithfulness: With a shirt of your preference in large size (Large, X Large) write on it “The shirt of being faithfulness” Take a time for family members to participate. Two members must put the shirt together, in this way the two will be dressed in the same shirt. They should have it for at least 10 minutes and try to do some activity with it on. Then make a wheel to discuss how it felt to be together. Check out this amazing post at Meaningful Mama about this activity!
  • The Star Movie: a recommend movie about courage and faithfulness. So, prepare a special night with popcorn and get comfy to watch this amazing movie. It’s important that while you watch the movie you can mention the values and qualities that are presented in film through the characters.

In this time, perhaps the summer is not the same for what we are living, but it is up to us to make it an unforgettable summer and with lots of learning! Remember to do each character trait mentioned above, it will be a great blessing for your family!

The Bible teaches us that kindness is one of the fruits of the Spirit. Teaching kids kindness is important from an early age. But how can we do it? Here I share with you a few tips on how we can teach our kids the acts of kindness.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (Galatians 5:22)

The dictionary of Bible Themes says about kindness the following: The quality of compassion and generosity, characteristic of God’s dealings towards the weak and poor, and demanded of believers. The kindness is also shown in the words and deeds of Jesus Christ.

In the Bible we have the best example that we can use to illustrate and teach our children about this topic. JESUS! – If we speak about compassion, generosity and kindness we are speaking about Him, and how God (our Father) made a great act of love and kindness with us through Jesus.

The first thing to say here is focus your teaching on Jesus. And you will be giving your children a solid foundation in kindness.

You can teach your kids with the following:

  • Being yourself the example of kindness with themselves. Teaching values begins at home and it is important that we are willing to not only talk to them about kindness, but willing to model it through our actions.
  • When we do acts of kindness it is important not to draw attention to ourselves. Children must learn that these acts are born from love and in the heart.
  • An idea to practice it may be choosing a day to perform acts of kindness with family members. And then, do it with the neighbors and so on.
    • Write a letter of encouragement.
    • Set the table for dinner.
    • Help with cleaning the dishes.
    • Help your neighbor to clean the yard.

Encourage your children to be kind to everyone regardless of differences (race, color). It is very important to teach these things from an early age because today we see a great need for healthy and loving adults in society. When your children do these acts of kindness, give them affirmation words that positively reinforce what they have done.

Finally, pray together as a family and ask God that you can always do acts of kindness and that each act is to give glory to Him. Have you had the opportunity to do this with your children? If not, would you like to start now? Comment below!

Focus your teaching on Jesus. And you will be giving your children a solid foundation in kindness. #faith #teach #kids #howto

Each devotional, 100 in total includes biblical verses, which makes this book a great tool to delve deeper into the word of God with the little ones in our house. Nothing better than being in our homes at this time, comfortable in our PJ’s and learning from all that God created.
