During this difficult time we are living, strengthening yourself in the Lord is the best thing you can do. As it says in Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Being in lock down for so many days is not easy, however as all things work for good for those who love the Lord, this time has been one of the mayor times of search in the Presence of the Lord. It has been a time to see the manifestation of God’s love, power and care for his children.
As I studied these days about how God strengthens us in the midst of that search in His presence, I created a little Bible study on this topic. And today I want to share it with you. It is a short Bible study of 6 Bible verses and includes a printable that you can use for your bible journaling time.
You have the freedom to study these biblical verses and to deepen the study of the word in your time and in the comfort of your home.
If you are looking for more bible studies I have available a few more that you can enjoy for free! Here is a list:
In this time we have had to declare and believe that our house is built on the Rock. As the Bible verse says in Matthew 7:24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock“
Have you been like the wise man who says in the scriptures? That man who heard the words of Jesus and put them into practice?
The Word of the Lord says that if our house is solidly built on the Rock that is Christ, even if storms, torrential rains, strong winds come, our house will not be destroyed.
The Rock is a symbol of strength and permanence. It is the place where we take refuge when difficult seasons come. It does not mean that we will not live the difficulty, but that we will have a place to go.
May in this time your foundation and strength be the Lord!
Today I want to give you a small printable that you can use for your bible or for your journal. I hope you enjoy it! This is a PDF (Quality Printing) format file for personal use only!
We already know what we are all experiencing. It is not an easy situation for each of us. However, I have always thought that at difficult times we should get the best out of it. Today, after a long time not blogging, I want to share a little about my quarantine season and how I have been able to have a time of greater intimacy with God.
I am in quarantine with a 2 year old. What many call the terrible two’s. It has been challenging. But at the same time I have been able to fully enjoy my motherhood in every way. Yes, I have felt tired and exhausted but with a great sense of fulfillment.
I have had time to work from home, to dedicate my attention to my baby, time to play in the pool, time to read and above all to be alone with God. And this last part is the most difficult that has been made possible for me.
However, I have had to sacrifice myself and allow myself to have short times of prayer and study of the Word of God, instead of long periods as I could do before I became a mother. My schedules have completely changed, my routine is not the same, now it is the routine and the structure of the baby. But God has given me strength and strategies to do it. I have had to make many adjustments to be able to recharge my physical, emotional and spiritual energies.
How could I do it? Here are some tips that have worked for me in times of quarantine.
If you don’t have time to pray for a long period, at least pray 15 minutes. The Word of God tells us that the Prophet Daniel prayed three times a day. In other words, you can determine to pray 3 times a day in short periods. The important thing is that you do it.
Before I was a mom I studied the Word every morning. Now I take a little bible study after my baby goes to sleep. Find the perfect time for you.
In this time I have practiced bible journaling a lot. This has helped me re-create myself a little, free my mind from other things. Being creative and at the same time being able to fill myself with His Word has been refreshing for me.
Nobody said it was easy! But it’s not impossible! Believe that God is always there to listen to you and talk to you, you just have to take the time to do it, even a little! I hope these tips can motivate you to keep going, as a mom and as a woman who needs God to keep going.
In times of Quarantine, having intimacy with God is first!
