I remember the time I was in the hospital multiple times because of various miscarriages. The first time was strong, the ones that followed were difficult too, but at that moment I asked God for a lot of peace. As humans we seek peace in different places but not all places provide true peace as God himself gives. Here I share with you about 3 things you should do to experience the peace of God in your life.

Experiencing losses leads us to sadness, anguish and in many cases to depression. That is how I experienced it for a while, but thank God that he held me, I was able to go through the valley of shadow and get up from that place.
How I did it? Delivering my sadness to God (not denying the situation I was experiencing), but rather going through the process trusting in God’s care with me. They were times of intimacy with God, times of weeping before Him. Times of cries and intercessions before His presence. Trusting completely in Him!
We can seek peace in other people. We can seek peace in our material possessions. But none of that compares to the true peace that God gives us. What you should do to experience the peace of God in your life?
3 things you should do to have the peace of God
If we study the biblical verse of Isaiah 26: 3 more deeply, we find that those who God maintains in perfect peace are those who do these 3 things:
- Keep your mind committed to the Lord: When you are committed to something, you search diligently, you are persistent and you stand firm.
- You are focused on one thing only: Being focused on God will help you not to blur or divert your gaze to another place. Become someone that is completely dependent of the Lord.
- Look for the right place to take refuge: God is your safe place, your strong tower … is your place of refuge. If you take refuge under its cover, under its wings there will be security and peace for you.
You will keep the mind that is dependent on you
in perfect peace,
for it is trusting in you. – Isaiah 26:3
If you find yourself lacking peace in your life today … take a moment to analyze yourself. Do you have Jesus in your life as Lord and Savior? Have you turned your gaze to another place that is not God? Have you focused more on your problems or circumstances? Do you feel that your heart is divided and are you not fully committed to God? If this may be your case, there is an opportunity to return to the right place of complete peace. God!
Blessings, Always – Tayrina
